IPO Strategy & Projections

Historical Backtest (2019-2026) • Recycled Capital Strategy

Accumulated Day 1 Performance
Year Grade A Grade B Grade C
How to Read the Table

The values show the total combined gain for all IPOs of that grade in that year. The number in parentheses, like (8), indicates the number of IPO listings in that category.

Example: In 2024, there were 35 Grade B IPOs, yielding an accumulated day-1 gain of +1,780.1%.

Understanding the Grades
  • Grade A (Stars): Rare, high-demand IPOs (e.g. over 50x oversubscribed). High Day 1 pop but hard to get allocated.
  • Grade B (Workhorses): Consistent, standard IPOs. Slightly smaller average pops but high frequency. Excellent for compounding.
  • Grade C (Landmines): High-risk IPOs that fail to perform. Total returns are -237.7%—we skip these completely.

SOP SCALPING Grade B: The 1-Minute Scalp (tf1M)
Strict 1-Min Timeframe Chart

SOP Terbaharu (tf1M): Jangan trade buta tuli! Monitor minit pertama rapat-rapat guna timeframe 1 Minit (tf1M).

⚠️ Minute 2 Rule: Kebanyakan IPO Grade B yang hype (seperti Empire Premium / Empire Sushi & Inspace Creation) boleh junam pada Minit Ke-2. Jika harga break support Minit Pertama, terus cut loss / close position tanpa ragu-ragu!

🚀 Hold Rule: Hanya boleh hold jika kaunter terus breakout mencatat New High berturut-turut pada tf1M (seperti senario luar biasa Sunway Medical / SunMed).

The Compounding Superpower (RM 10k Start)

Comparison assuming a 5% average allocation (Realistic) and Grade B focus.

Timeline Fixed (RM 10k) Compounded (Cash) Hunter Pro (2x Leverage) Difference
Year 1 RM 15,624 RM 17,400 RM 24,800 +RM 9,176
Year 3 RM 26,872 RM 52,600 RM 158,000 +RM 105,328
Year 5 RM 38,120 RM 159,000 RM 720,000 +RM 561,000
Year 7 RM 49,368 RM 481,000 RM 2,420,000 +RM 1,939,000
What is 5% Average Allocation?

Because of high demand, retail applications are oversubscribed. If you apply for RM 10,000, you will usually only get allocated about 5% (RM 500) worth of shares. The other RM 9,500 cash is immediately refunded to your bank account.

What do the Columns mean?
  • Fixed: You apply for RM 10k every time, but you withdraw your profits instead of reinvesting. You grow slowly.
  • Compounded (Cash): You add your profits back to your capital pool to apply for larger share volumes on subsequent IPOs.
  • Hunter Pro (2x Leverage): You compound cash profits and use preferred broker financing to double your application power, multiplying your returns.

Leverage is a Speed Multiplier: By using 2x leverage financing, you double your share allocation per IPO. This accelerates compounding exponentially. In 7 years, the difference between Cash and Leverage is a staggering RM 1.9 Million.

Side-by-Side Projections (Grade B vs. Grade A Focus)
Understanding the 7-Year Projections

These cards show your simulated wealth growth based on your "Apply size per IPO".

Notice how the **Grade B Focus** yields over **13 times more wealth** than the **Grade A Focus**. This is because Grade B IPOs occur very frequently (133 times in 7 years), allowing your money to compound repeatedly. Grade A IPOs are highly profitable but too rare (only 19 times in 7 years) to create an effective compounding chain by themselves.

Core Strategy Rules

Recycle Capital

Capital is returned after listing. You only need the "Apply per IPO" amount in your account.

Skip Grade C

Historical data shows Grade C destroys capital (-237%). Never apply for C-rated IPOs.

Day 1 Scalp (tf1M)

Pantau chart tf1M. Jika break support Minit 1 (seperti Empire Sushi / Inspace pada Minit 2), terus close. Hanya hold jika buat New High berterusan (seperti Sunmed).

Focus on B

Grade B represents 70%+ of total market returns. It is the real money machine.
